it has just recently re-dawned on me that most of my favorite bands and artists are dead or on the verge of death from old age. sad. is it weird or wrong that i dont listen to the radio at my age? ok thanks i dont give a shit what your opinion on that is actually.

david bowie

who are either dead or getting there

i love them, they created such amazing sounds with so little. all the damn recordings of people today have so much technological shite it sounds like something is ripping your mind apart. not cool, i mean yeah some of the effects are all right but its just not music anymore. although i have to give credit to those few individuals who have managed to keep the instruments real and let their own voice be natural. and to the people who have accomplished all this and gotten recording contracts, well i only wish i had any fucking talent like you. damn.

so if you read this and are awed by todays misconception of music ie. britney, katy perry, lady gaga ( btw what the good old fashioned fuck is up with the name) and idk other people from the top 40, well just do me a favor and go listen to some of these MUSICIANS and try to see what i see- instruments and voices blending together to make a friggin harmonious sound.
